Beads Onboard - September 2010
Onboard CARNIVAL SPLENDOR visiting the MEXICAN RIVIERA

September 5th-12th - Departing from Los Angeles, CA

Visiting Puerta Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas

Registration is now open for Beads Onboard 2010!!

In addition to an exciting week-long vacation aboard the Carnival Splendor, Beads Onboard 2009 will provide beading classes that have something for everyone.  If you are new to beading, you will learn basic techniques while completing beginner projects.  By the end of the cruise, you will have a strong foundation and will be ready to move on to more advanced jewelry.  If you have been making jewelry for years, you will work on advanced projects and have a chance to experiment with new twists on some favorite techniques.  Along the way we will be visiting exciting ports in the Mexican Riviera, including Puerta Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas.  Our Group Cruise Specialist will be onboard to help ensure you have a wonderful vacation experience.

The Carnival Splendor provides 7 days accommodations, all meals/snacks/drinks, 24/7 room service, 24/7 movies, kids clubs, live entertainment, scheduled onboard activities, pools and hot tubs and more.  Beads Onboard participants will also be invited to attend exclusive activities throughout the week.

All classes are scheduled on Sea Days.  Ports Days are yours to enjoy with family and friends.  Whether you choose to spend your free time being pampered by the ship's staff, meeting new friends from around the world, and/or participating in a variety of daily activities both onboard and port-side … the choice is yours!

We are pleased to have Michelle Norton onboard once again as our Master Teacher:

Michelle Norton

Beading for the past twenty years, Michelle has become an expert with a variety of techniques and loves to share her own unique designs through teaching.  Her expertise of beading crafts encompasses a full range of projects and styles.

As a Navy wife, she travels around the world, and finds ways to share her passion for beading wherever she goes - private lessons, group classes, or volunteer community service events.  As an artist Michelle shares her beading talents by designing wedding jewelry and custom pieces.  Michelle credits the years she lived in Italy with adding a new dimension to her unique designs and personal style.

Michelle is excited to be the Master Teacher for Beads Onboard 2010.  Each project, demonstration and workshop has been reviewed and approved by Michelle, who will be onboard teaching a variety of techniques.  She especially enjoys meeting beaders from around the world and seeing what creative talent each individual brings to the artform.
