ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR SCHOOL AT SEA 2010 |
Registration for School at Sea 2010 is now open!! In addition to an exciting five-day vacation aboard the Carnival Elation, School at Sea 2010 will provide unique programs of special interest to homeschooling families and friends who share a love of learning by experiencing the world. Along the way we will be visiting exciting ports in the Western Caribbean, including Progresso and Cozumel. Our Group Cruise Specialist will be onboard to help ensure your family has a wonderful vacation experience. Your "floating hotel" provides accommodations, all meals/snacks/drinks, 24/7 room service, 24/7 movies, kids clubs, live entertainment, scheduled onboard activities, pools and hot tubs and more. School at Sea participants will also have the option of attending exclusive hands-on workshops and exclusive “family friendly” activities such as pizza parties, art shows, trivia contests, and our special School at Sea Scavenger Hunt. Whether you spend your free time being pampered by the ship's staff, meeting new friends from around the world, and/or participating in a variety of daily activities both onboard and in port … the choice is yours! Each participating family will receive a “Pre-Cruise Activities” curriculum packet, with travel information, packing tips and a personalized curriculum including geography, science, history, social studies and more … all based on the ports/region we will be visiting. This builds excitement for your vacation plans, and allows your family to “get to know” the part of the world you will soon be exploring. Mailed with Confirmation: Welcome Packet upon receipt of cruise deposit - itinerary with information about each port and program enrollment - worksheets/activities based on each port - Packing / Travelling Tips - Pre- and Post-Cruise optional activities Our program was originally intended as a daily-dose of learning activities for families to learn about the areas they would be exploring on the cruise. However many families choose to complete some or all of the activities onboard, while others save them until after the cruise to be used as a Unit Study program. The choice is yours.
Complete Cruise Pricing: Determined based on number of persons per room and room category. Please contact Karen at Worldwide Family Vacations for quote.
