In addition to an exciting vacation onboard a luxurious cruise ship, School at Sea will provide unique programs of special interest to homeschooling families and friends who share a love of learning by experiencing the world. Along the way we will be visiting exciting ports. Our Group Cruise Specialist will be onboard to help ensure your family has a wonderful vacation experience.
The School at Sea program is appropriate for all homeschooling styles and all families.
Our Standard Pre-cruise Activities Packet is filled with daily doses of Critical Thinking, Geography and Science, plus Puzzles, Recipes, Crafts and more. Those families who prefer a Christian-based Pre-Cruise Activities Packet may request this option at time of registration. Students are encouraged to personalize their onboard experience - they may choose to follow each project step-by-step or to use our materials as a starting-point for their own creativity.

What you can expect from School at Sea - Fully Escorted Program ...
Your "floating hotel" provides accommodations, all meals/snacks/drinks, 24/7 room service, 24/7 movies, kids clubs, live entertainment, scheduled onboard activities, pools and hot tubs and more. School at Sea participants will also have the option of attending exclusive hands-on workshops and exclusive “family friendly” activities such as pizza parties, art shows, trivia contests, and our special School at Sea Scavenger Hunt. Whether you spend your free time being pampered by the ship's staff, meeting new friends from around the world, and/or participating in a variety of daily activities both onboard and in port … the choice is yours!
Each participating family will receive a “Pre-Cruise Activities” curriculum packet, with travel information, packing tips and a personalized curriculum including geography, science, history, social studies and more … all based on the ports/region we will be visiting. This builds excitement for your vacation plans, and allows your family to “get to know” the part of the world you will soon be exploring.
Many favorite homeschool vendors have chosen to participate in School at Sea. You may have a chance to test new products, view programs and boxed curriculums, and meet some homeschooling experts.
We have a wonderful program to offer you for School at Sea 2010:
Mailed with Confirmation: Welcome Packet
upon receipt of cruise deposit - itinerary with information about each port
and program enrollment - worksheets/activities based on each port
- Packing / Travelling Tips - Pre- and Post-Cruise optional activities Our program was originally intended as a daily-dose of learning activities for families to learn about the areas they would be exploring on the cruise. However many families choose to complete some or all of the activities onboard, while others save them until after the cruise to be used as a Unit Study program. The choice is yours.
If your family would enjoy a vacation at sea, participating in our School at Sea program ... I look forward to hearing from you! Our special group pricing for School at Sea families will help you enjoy more, but spend less. Complete Cruise Pricing: Determined based on number of persons per room and room category.
